GateProof replaces the paper sign in book with a QR code sign in system. Each person is registered once with a photo and receives a printable QR card. Scanning the card at the gate records the check-in or check-out, and the result appears on a live dashboard and in daily reports.

Register once. Issue a photo QR card.

  • Workers, visitors, drivers and deliveries each have a registration type: Driver, Passenger, Delivery, Visitor.
  • Photo is compulsory for every type.
  • Number plate is required for drivers and deliveries, and optional for visitors.
  • Print the QR card and issue it. Register many people quickly with a CSV template upload (Site plan and above).

A scanner that runs in a browser

  • Works on any phone or tablet camera, or by manual ID entry.
  • Detects check-in or check-out automatically; the gate person does not choose.
  • Displays the person's photo and the latest staff note on file, so the gate person can see whether the person scanning matches the card.
  • Nothing to install. Open the page, sign in as staff and scan.

Corrections that stay accountable

  • Manual entries: add a check-in or check-out for a forgotten scan. Reports label each manual entry with who added it and why.
  • Deactivate: block new check-ins for a person while keeping their history intact.
  • Editable details: keep names, companies and number plates current.
  • Staff access: sign in by password or an emailed one-time link.

Clear about scope

GateProof is a gate and attendance record. It does not currently handle inductions, permits, qualification or document checks, or offline scanning.
